A significant part of the CNU Illinois mission is to create opportunities to raise awareness and knowledge of CNU projects and principles. The following are CNU Illinois events planned for 2007:

March 4, 2008: Spring Workshop - "The Value of Design"
Please join us for an informative Spring Workshop. Bring your plans and design questions for expert insight. Topics will include:
   • How design effects our communities and our lives – from global to local
   • How to create a Town Center
   • From the developer's perspective – creating New Town St. Charles
   • Designing value into your homes
   • Value and false economies

   Invited Speakers:
   • Marianne Cusato - Author, "The Value of Design"
   • Jeff Speck - Director of Design at the National Endowment for the Arts
   • Tim Busse - New Town
   • Max Reim - Live Work Learn Play
